Stella Assange and Renowned Film Producer Gabriel Shipton Set to Headline Plan ₿ Forum, presented by Tether and the City of Lugano

6 June, 2023 – In an exciting addition to the stellar lineup of the Plan B Forum, a Bitcoin conference organized by Tether and the City of Lugano, Stella Assange, attorney and wife of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, has been added to the speaker lineup alongside Gabriel Shipton. Together, they will delve into the profound significance of the attack on Julian Assange, highlighting its direct impact on freedom of speech and the far-reaching implications it holds worldwide.

Gabriel Shipton is an acclaimed film producer whose feature length documentary, Ithaka, premiered at the Sydney film festival in 2022. The film chronicles Julian Assange's decade-long struggle and explores the profound impact this battle has had on those closest to him. Also joining them is John Noble Shipton, an advisor to the Assange Campaign and father to Julian, who has passionately advocated for his son's human rights worldwide.

These influential speakers return to the Plan ₿ Forum by popular demand following their highly anticipated 2022 panel, “The Attack on Julian Assange is an Attack on Freedom of Speech.” The wife, brother, and father of Julian Assange will again address pressing issues such as press freedom and democratic rights in the face of Julian’s prosecution.

Scheduled for October 20-21, 2023 the second annual Plan ₿ Forum promises an exceptional roster of speakers who will explore how Bitcoin is reshaping the world, both socially and economically.
