Tether Announces Board Candidates to Support Juventus’ Growth and Transformation

16 October 2025: Tether is pleased to announce that it has formally submitted two candidates for consideration to join the Board of Directors (CdA) of Juventus Football Club.

As stated on multiple occasions, Tether is committed to becoming a positive force of change within the Club, an ambition captured by our guiding principle: Make Juventus Great Again.

Juventus is not just a football club; it is a global institution with a uniquely passionate fan base that spans continents. Since announcing our investment in the Club, Tether has listened carefully to the voices of fans from Italy and across the whole world, receiving invaluable suggestions, feedback, and calls for deeper engagement. We have made suggestions to be voted in the assembly in order to make certain changes to the by-laws and to adopt best-in-class corporate governance and representation of minorities.

We believe Juventus has the highest potential of any football club in the world. Realizing that potential requires strengthening the bond with supporters, embracing global opportunities, and leading in the use of new technologies and media to match or surpass other top clubs.

It all starts with the fans. Without a strong, enduring connection to the supporters, lasting success cannot be achieved.

For this reason, Tether is proud to nominate Dr. Francesco Garino as our first candidate for the Board. Francesco is a lifelong Juventus supporter, born, raised, and living in Turin. He excels in the medical field, is renowned in Italy and abroad, and embodies the loyalty, intelligence, and dedication of the Popolo Bianconero – a true Juventino DOC for 50 years. Present through highs and lows, always in the stands, and unwavering in belief, “Fino alla Fine.” Francesco represents the fans, and with him, they will all have a direct voice at the highest level of the Club.

As a second candidate, we are nominating Zachary Lyons, Tether’s Deputy Chief Investment Officer, to support the financial and strategic development of the Club alongside Francesco.

Paolo Ardoino, Tether’s CEO, and Juan Sartori, Vice President of Strategic Projects, will continue to lead our ongoing decision-making and strategic efforts with Juventus.

This marks another step in Tether’s mission to help restore Juventus to its rightful place at the top of world football, with its fans at the center of that journey.
